Last Will and Testament
of
William Babb
In the name of the Benevolent Father I William Babb of the County of Shelby and State of Indiana Do make and publish this my last will
and testament 1st I give and Devise to my beloved wiff in lieu of her Dower the farm on which we now Reside situate
in Hendricks Township Shelby County Indiana Containing Eighty acres During her naturl life and all the stocks house
hold goods furniture provision and other goods and Chattles which may be thereon at the time of my Decease During
her natural life as aforesaid she have over [?] selling so much thereof as may Be sufficient to pay my Just Debts
At the Death of my said wife the Real Estate aforesaid I give and Devise to my five sons and two grand Children
as follows the Real Estate to Be Divided in six Equal parts Daniel Babb
one share Erastus Babb one chare Martin P Babb
one share James Babb one share John Babb
one share Enos Baller half share Mariah Baller
half share and their heirs 2nd I give and Devise to my three Daughters Rebecca Baller
Martha Jane Tucker Elizabeth
Ann Harton to share Equal
in all the personal property that I am seised with at the Death of my said wife Lastly I Do hereby nominate and
appoint my Beloved wife Executor of this my last will and testament hereby authorizing and Empowering her to compromise
adjust Releas and Discharge in such manner as she may Deem proper the Debts and Claims Due me I do also authorize
and Empower her if it shal become necessary in order to paying my Debts to sell By Private Sale as in such manner
upon such terms of Credit or otherwise as she may think proper all or any part of my Real Estate and Deeds to purchasers
to Execute acknowledge and Deliver in fee simple.
I do hereby Revoke all former wills by me made In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this16th
Day of March 1860

Be it remembered that on this first day of August A D 1867 personally appeared before me the undersigned Clerk
of the Court of Common Pleas of said County John Timmony and H L Ross two of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing
Instrument of writing to wit: the last Will and Testament of William Babb late of Shelby County deceased,
now produce and offer said Will for Probate....
