Volney  Larrison
will of --

          I  Volney Larrison  of Moral township, Shelby County, Indiana being of sound mind and disposing memory do hereby make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke any and all Wills by me heretofore made.

Item 1.  It is my will and I hereby direct that my executor shall pay all of my just debts, including the debts of my last sickness and funeral expenses as soon after my death as convienent and I devise that I be burried in a metal vault. 

Item 2.  After complying with Item One and upon the settlement of my estate I will and devise and bequeath to my beloved wife  Hattie A. Larrison  all of my estate, real personal and mixed, she to have the income rents and earnings therefrom after paying the taxes and costs of managing my said Estate for and during the term of her natural life and for that time only providing that she remarry then I desire and will that she take a full one third of my estate together with her five Hundred dollars statutory allowance as her full share of my estate.  If the provision herein made is not sufficient for the comfortable support of my wife, then I direct that she may draw a sufficient amount from the principal to make her a comfortable maintenance. 

Item 3.  Upon the death of my beloved wife Hattie A. Larrison or should she remarry then upon her remarrying I will and devise and bequeath to my eight children, now living Viz:  Mary Margaret Means,  Omer Larrison,  Myrtle Totten,  Edith Miller,  Clarra Larrison,  Hattie B. Larrison,  all of my estate then remaining real, personal and mixed absolutely and in fee simple to be divided among them equally share and share alike.

Item 4.  I hereby nominate and appoint my son in law  Albert Totten  as the Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

          Witness my Hand and seal this 10th day of October A.D. 1912.

          This instrument in writing was signed sealed and declared to be the last Will and Testament by the above named Volney Larrison in our presence as witnesses and signed by us as witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other and upon being requested to do so by him said Volney Larrison.

          Be It Remembered That on the 10th day of December 1912 Hattie M. Dake and Charles E. Larrison two on the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last Will and Testament of Volney Larrison late of said County, deceased, personally appeared before Otto L. Coyle Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, in the State of Indiana, and being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court upon his oath declared and testified as follows, that is to say That on the 10" day of October 1912 They saw the said Volney Larrison sign his name to the said instrument in writing as and for his last Will and Testament, and that this deponent at the same time heard the said Volney Larrison and with his consent attested and subscribed by the said Witnesses in the presence of said testator and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses thereto and that the said Volney Larrison was at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing as aforesaid of full age (that is more than twenty one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory and not under any coercion or restraint as the said deponent verily believes and further deponent says not.

Coyle, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Volney Larrison has been duly admitted to probate and duly proved by the testimony of Hattie M. Dake and Charles E. Larrison two of the subscribing witnesses thereto that a complete record of said Will and of the testimony of the said Hattie M. Dake and Charles E. Larrison in proof thereof has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 6 at pages 228-229-230, of the record of Wills of said County. 
          In Attestation Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court at Shelbyville this 10th day of December 1912.
