Last  Will  of  Daniel  Conner, Senior


          Daniel Conner of Shelby county in the state of Indiana do make and publish this my Last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
          First     I direct that my body be decently Intered and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in Life and asto such worldly estate as it has pleased God to entrust me with I dispose of the same in the manner following ToWit:  First     I direct that all my Just debts and Funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first money that shall come into the hands of my Executor from any potion of my estate real or personal.  I also Direct that my son Daniel Conner Junior to sell property such as he sees cause to do to pay all my Just debts     I also direct that my three sons living at home now with me shall have a home apeace and three head of sheep apeace and to my four daughters living at home this time one cow three head of sheep one spinin Wheel one good bed and bedding apeace.  And I here direct that my real estate & housel furniture be kept for to maintain my wife as long as she lives or my children until my youngest child becomes of twenty one years of age of I also direct then that my executor shall sell my real & personal estate for cash or on credit as he sees cause to do.  And I also direct him to divide two thirds of the money equally among all my daughters then livin or their children after them and the remainder to be divided among all my sons then living or their children after them.  This is my will and Last Testament.  In Witness whereof  I Daniel Conner  the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one

State of Indiana     Shelby County     SS          Be it remembered that on the first day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one personally appeared before me Sylvan D. Morris clerk of the Shelby circuit county and Ex-officio clerk of the Probate court of Shelby county  William Adair & Mark Roberts and being by me duly sworn on oath say that  .....ay and heard Daniel Conner make sign seal publish and declare the foregoing instrument in writing as and for his last will and testament that he was of sound mind and memory at the time of its execution that they signed their names thereto as witnesses in the presence and at the Request of said Testator and in the presence of each of them.
