The Shelbyville RepublicanFuneral services for Frank Slagle, father of Albert Slagle, of this city, who died Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Voss funeral home in Seymour. Burial will be made at Seymour.

Mr. Slagle died at the home of a son-in-law and daughter, Lt. and Mrs. Emil C. Reuter, in Indianapolis. Surviving with the daughter at whose home he died, and the son here, is a sister, Mrs. Harry Weaver, of Seymour.

The Shelbyville RepublicanMrs. Barbara A. Slagle, age eighty-seven years, for many years a resident of the Marietta community, in Shelby County, died Thursday evening, at six-twenty o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tilford C. Williams, No. 1906 Bellefontaine street, Indianapolis. Her death was caused by senility and complication of diseases.

Community Passes Away At
Home of Daughter.

FUNERAL SERVICES SUNDAY

Mrs. Slagel, whose maiden name was also Slagle, was born October 3, 1833, in Ohio. She was married December 19, 1852 to David H. Slagle. Mr. Slagle died September 12, 1887. For the last eighteen years Mrs. Slagle had been making her home with her daughter in Indianapolis.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Williams, at whose home she died; Mrs. W. S. Snyder, of Shelbyville; and Mrs. Susan Harrod, of Franklin; one brother, Albert Slagle, of Piqua, Ohio; and one sister, Mrs. William Thanistoff, of Sidney, Ohio. She also leaves 22 grand children, 25 treat grand children and two great-great grand children.
The body will be brought to the home of Mrs. Snyder in this city Saturday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Marietta M. P. church, the Rev. Ratcliff officiating. Burial will be made in the Miller cemetery. Morris H. Sleeth in charge.

The Franklin DemocratTillie Slagle, wife of Geo. Slagle and daughter of B. J. Spillman, died last Thursday at Indianapolis and the remains were sent to her father’s that evening, where the funeral occurred Friday. Burial at Second Mt. Pleasant. Tillie was one of our honored girls, and one whom we all knew well, and her death was a surprise to us all. She leaves a husband and one daughter, father, mother and many friends to mourn their loss.
