MRS.  JAMES  SHANER   
    DIED  SUNDAY  EVENING

Had  Been  Resident  of  This
City  About  One  Year  --  Fu-
neral  Tuesday.

          Mrs. Elizabeth Shaner,  38 years old, wife of  James Shaner,  died at her home, 540 east Washington street, Sunday evening at 6:00 o'clock, following a complication of disease, from which she had suffered for the past several weeks.  Mr. and Mrs. Shaner had been residents of this city during the past year, and Mrs. Shaner has a number of friends here who will all be greatly shocked to learn of her death.  Funeral services will be held at the Nazarene church, Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, the Rev. Mr. Hensler officiating.  The burial will be made in the city cemetery, in charge of C. F. Fix & Son, undertakers.
          Mrs. Shaner during her short residence here, had made a number of friends and was known to be lovable woman, much interested in the welfare of her family.  She was a member of the United Brethern church, and had always been an active worker in the organization.  She leaves besides the husband, six children,  Mary,  Alma,  Mable,  Curtis,  Walter,  and  William,  all at home, and one brother,  James Earp,  of Missouri.
