Sue  A.  Paris

          Sue Anna Paris,  89, of Shelbyville, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at Heritage House Convalescent Center.
          Born April 8, 1916, in Bartstown, Ky., she was the daughter of the late  John Columbus and  Ollie Florence (Cull) Cheatham.  She married  Memol Edison Paris  on Sept. 15, 1934, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1978.
          Survivors include tow sons,  Richard (Esther) Paris  of Clarksville and  Donald E. (Marsha) Paris  of Shelbyville; three daughters,  Barbara J. (Rev. Richard E.) Hawn  of Connersville,  Marjorie E. Weinantz  of Shelbyville and  Beverly J. (Mick) Cecil  of Greenfield; one brother,  Robert Cheatham  of Franklin; one sister,  Beulah Wykoff  of Lafayette; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
          She also was preceded in death by one daughter, five brothers, two sisters and one son-in-law,  Tom Weinantz.
          Mrs. Paris lived in Shelbyville for 80 years. She had previously lived in Kentucky.
          She had been a farmer and homemaker.
          Mrs. Paris was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
          Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.
          Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard O. Paris II officiating.
          Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, in Shelby County.
          Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage House of Shelbyville, in care of Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
