          Shelbyville--- Sherman Gould,  59 years old, is dead at his home near this city.  His death came as a result of cancer of the liver, from which he had suffered for four years.  He is survived by the widow,  Mrs. Martha Gould;  three daughters,  Celia,  Ruth  and  Mabel;  one son,  John,  all at home, and four sisters,  Mrs. Lova Sheaffer  of London, Ind.;  Mrs. Clara Pollard  of Cashmere, Wash.;  Mrs. Anna Pfendler  of Indianapolis and  Mrs. Jessie Means  of New Palestine, Ind.
