Jon  K.  Fansler
----------
          Jon K. Fansler,  50, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at his residence.  He was born Aug. 3, 1962, in Rushville, to  Jon K. and  Jean (Wright) Fansler.  He married  Rhonda Howell  on Nov. 6, 1987, and she survives.
          Survivors include his wife and his mother, both of Shelbyville; sons, Dale (wife, Dianne) Sutton and  Jon Keith Fansler,  all of Shelbyville; sisters,  Janet Beyer  of Shelbyville and  Julie (husband, Scott) Barrow  of Homer; and grandchildren,  Gage,  Payton  and  Aubrey Sutton.
          He was preceded in death by his father and his brother,  Jarad Fansler.
          A lifetime resident of this area, Jon graduated from Morristown High School.
          He was employed as a parts manager for Sandman Brothers for 33 years and was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Shelbyville.
          Jon was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was actively involved in his grandchildren's motocross racing.
          Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Glenn E. George and Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road Shelbyville.
          Services will follow visitation at noon Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Robb Barlow officiating. Burial will be at Whispering Hope Cemetery in Shelby County.
          In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CJD Foundation in care of the funeral home.
