Havens

The  Shelby  Republican
Friday, August 12, 1898
-----------
Sherman Havens, of Marion township, is home from Brown county where he has been looking after the peach crop.  Sherman went prepared to bring home a lot of peaches and he had them and they were unusually good.  He says he paid forty cents a bushel for them and in his opinion they can be bought in two weeks for twenty cents a bushel.  Some of his peach stories would do for a comic almanac.
