Alice Weir, wife of John J. Weir died at their residence, in Hanover township, at 3:20 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 1897, of lung trouble, aged 24 years.
She leaves a husband and two children to mourn her demise. The remains were brought to this city this morning
and taken to Scottsburg, Ind., on the 8:40 train. The funeral will take place in Scottsburg Tuesday, February
23, 1897. Marshall G. Tindall of this city has charge of the remains.
