WOMAN DIED
AT
HOSPITAL TUESDAY
----------
Mrs. Katherine E. Thamann,
Former Resident Here,
Passes Away At
Indianapolis.
----------
Friends of Mrs. Katherine E. Thamann,
sixty-two years old, wife of Joseph G. Thamann, will regret to
learn of her death which occurred at the St. Vincent hospital in Indianapolis at
6:20 o'clock Tuesday evening, from a complication of diseases with which she had
suffered for some time. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. John G. Gallagher, 547 north Oxford street,
Indianapolis, the time of which has not been decided upon.
Mrs. Thamann was formerly
a resident of this city, her husband being engaged in business here for a number
of years. She was born in Carrollton, Ky., and following her marriage to
Mr. Thamann moved to this city, where they resided until going to Indianapolis a
few years ago. Her husband has been engaged in the grocery business since
moving to Indianapolis. Mrs. Thamann had a wide circle of friends thruout
the city and county, who will be shocked at the news of her death. She was
stricken with paralysis, a year ago and since that time had been in declining
health.
Besides the husband and
daughter, she is survived by one son, who resides in Indianapolis.
