EDWARD  STOOPS  DIES  AT  SON'S
----------
          Edward Blaine Stoops, 67, resident of Shelby county for the last five years, died Sunday at the home of a son, Ralph Stoops, south of Boggstown.  Although he had been in failing health for four years, his death was sudden and unexpected.
          Mr. Stoops was born in Wabash county on May 10, 1884.  On April 25, 1912, he was married to Ruth Bessie Biehl, who preceded him in death.  Surviving with the son at whose home he died is another son, Dale Stoops, of near Boggstown, and nine grandchildren.
          Friends may call at the Sleeth Funeral Home this evening.  The body will be moved to the Stultz & Briggs Funeral Home in Funtington Tuesday monring.  Funeral service s will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.  Burial will be made in Huntington.
