Fred H. Stickford, 83, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, Beech Grove.
Born July 27, 1918, in Liberty Township in Shelby County, s/o  Fred G. and Pearl M. (Miller) Stickford.
Survivors include one daughter,  Mary D. Stickford  of California; and one sister,  Katharine M. Wiley  of Shelbyville.
U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant.
Farmer and employed at National Farm Machinery for seven years and Pittsburgh Plate Glass.
Member of Geneva Methodist Church in Geneva, Shelby County Arts Council and Norristown Masonic Lodge No. 147.
Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with the Revs. Carol Ruth Wiley and Steve Cherry officiating.
Van Pelt Cemetery in Shelby County with Masonic rites conducted by Norristown Masonic Lodge.
