Rites Set For Allie J. Senour

          Services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, Indianapolis, for  Allie "Al" J. Senour,  70, of 4320 N. Illinois St., Indianapolis, who died Monday at Methodist Hospital there.
          Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery and friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
          A resident of Shelbyville for many years before moving to Indianapolis 10 years ago, Mr. Senour was a member of the Second Baptist Church here.  He was formerly employed at the Shelbyville News and at the KCL Corp.
          Surviving are three children,  William H. Senour  and  Mrs. Era Leigh Evans, both of Indianapolis, and  Mrs. Virginia Stewart,  Washington, D.C.  His wife,  Augustine,  preceded in death.

Death Claims Mrs. Senour
Services Wednesday For Local Woman, 76

          Elizabeth Tibitha Senour, 76, 820 Miller Ave., died at home at 5 a.m. Sunday after being in failing health for one year and critical for a week.
          Born in Horse Cave, Ky., on Nov. 23, 1886, Mrs. Senour was the daughter of  Scott  and  Nancy (Garvin) Richardson.  She married  Virgil Senour  of Shelbyville and he died March 7, 1957.  Survivors include a son by a former marriage,  Roy Barlow  at home, and the following step-children:  Al. J. Senour  of Indianapolis,  Clifford Senour  of Seymour and  Mrs. Juanita Morgan  of Cleveland, O.  Mrs. Senour was a member of the Second Baptist Church of this city and was a member of the E. J. Hines Missionary Society of the church.
          Funeral servies will be at the Second Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. F. W. Childs officiating.  Burial will be in a Forest Hill cemetery.  Friends may call at the Murphy Mortuary after 2 p.m. Tuesday until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday and after that at the church.

C. E. Senour  Dies  at  Home
Rites for Local Man Will Be Held Monday

          Curtis Edward "Tate" Senour,  60, 1321 S. Harrison St., died suddenly at his home at 5 a.m. today following a coronary attack.  Mr. Senour, who had operated a janitor service here for many years, had been in failing health for two weeks.
          He was born in New Liberty, Ky., December 10, 1900, a son of  Virgil and Kathryn Senour.  Surviving with his wife,  Flora,  are a son,  Emerson Senour  of Indianapolis; the following stepsons and step-daughters;  Donal Lynch,  Carl Lynch  and  Mrs. Elizabeth Murphy,  Clearfield, Pa.,  Stanley Lynch  and  Mrs. Charles Chandler, Indianapolis, and  Leroy Lynch, serving with the U. S. Navy; two brothers, Al J. Senour  of Shelbyville and  Clifford Senour,  Seymour; a sister,  Mrs. Juanita Morgan,  Cleveland, O.; a stepbrother,  Roy Barlow,  and a step-mother,  Mrs. Elizabeth Senour,  both of Shelbyville.
          Funeral services will be held at the Murphy Mortuary at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. F. W. Childs officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday.

Virgil  Senour  Dies  in  Hospital
Rites for City Man, 74, To Be Saturday

          Virgil B. Senour,  74, resident of this city for 50 years and a retired employe of the Indiana Bell Telephone Company, died at Major Hospital at 11:00 a.m. today.  He had been in failing health for the past year and in a critical condition for a week.
          Mr. Senour, whose home was at 820 Miller Ave., was born in Owenton, Ky., May 17, 1882, the son of  Stanford  and  Maggie Senour.  He first was married to  Mary Kathryn Livers  whose death occurred in 1926.  Later he was married to  Elizabeth Richardson  who survives.  Also surviving are four children, A. J.  and  Curtis Senour  of this city, Clifford  of Seymour and  Mrs. Juanita Morgan  of Cleveland.  There are seven grandchildren.
          Mr. Senour was a member of the New Haven Baptist Church.  His funeral will be held at the Murphy Mortuary Saturday at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. B. T. Hughes officiating.  Interment will be at Forest Hill cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary after 1:00 p.m. Friday.

AGED  COLORED  RESIDENT  DIES
Mrs. Flora Livers Senour Dies at Home of Daughter Here

          Mrs. Flora Livers Senour  aged 65, died Saturday evening at 7:00 o'clock at the home of a daughter,  Mrs. Louis Liggins, 10 Howard street [number hard to read - could be 30 - PMF].
          She is survived by two daughters,  Mrs. Liggins,  at whose home she died, and  Mrs. Mildred Morgan,  of Cleveland, Ohio, two sons,  Forrest Senour  of Indianapolis, and  Leonard Senour  also of Cleveland, Ohio, and six grandchildren.
          The aged woman was a member of the Second Baptist church of the church's Aid Society and the Rose Embroidery club.
          Funeral services will be held at the Second Baptist church on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with burial in Forest Hill cemetery, in charge of Edwards & Kohlmeyer, funeral directors.
          Friends may call at the funeral home after one o'clock today and until Tuesday at noon.

DIES  AT  HOME
Robert Senour, 64, Passes Away

          Robert Senour, colored, 64, of 851 Miller avenue, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, following an illness of complications of several weeks.
          He was born March 12, 1873, in Owensboro, Ky., the son of  Sanford  and  Maggie Senour.  He was married to  Flora Livers, on March 17, 1898.  Five children were born, of whom four survive with the widow.  They are  Forest  and  Elizabeth  Senour, of Indianapolis;  Leonard Senour  and  Mrs. Mildred Morgan,  both of Cleveland, O.  One brother and two sisters, Virgil, of this city;  Mrs. Strader  and  Mrs. Lawson, of Indianapolis, also survive, besides six grandchildren.
          The deceased was a member of the Second Baptist church, where funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, in chargeof the Rev. J. J. Moore, pastor of the church.  Burial will bein Forest Hill cemetery in charge of Ralph J. Edwards, funeral director.

          George W. Senour, died this morning at his home on West Mechanic street.  He was born May 16, 1825 in Franklin county, Indiana.  His father was born in North Carolina and raised six children.  Mr. Senour was the fifth in line of birth.  In January 1862, he married  Fannie B. Robbins, daughter of  Dr. Milton Robbins.  Children born:  Milton R.,  Francis,  Emma and Cora, who with the widow survive.  Buried in Forest Hill.
