Brinton F. Sawin, 42, Succumbs At Home

          Brinton F. Sawin,  age forty-two, brother of  Mrs. Henry Pence  and  Ray Sawin,  of Shelby county, died at the Johnson county hospital Sunday after becoming ill at his home in Edinburg Thursday night.
          Mr. Sawin was born in Shelby county on June 4, 1905, the son of  Alonzo M.  and  Nellie (Snepp) Sawin.  He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Edinburg.  Surviving with the sister and brother named are three children, Donald Brinton,  Mary Elizabeth  and  Dan G. Sawin,  of Edinburg, and a sister  Mrs. Howard Boegaholz,  of Edinburg.
          Funeral services will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at the Farr & Gosney Funeral home in Edinburg and burial will be made in the St. George cemetery.

Mrs. Nellie V. Sawin Passed Away
Tuesday At Home Of Her Daughter

          Mrs. Nellie V. Sawin, age fifty-one, widow of  Alonzo M. Sawin, died Tuesday evening at four o'clock at the home of her daughter,  Mrs. Henry Pence,  in Jackson township, Shelby county, three miles east of Edinburg.  Her death followed an illness of about nine months.
          Mrs. Sawin was widely acquainted through the community in which she had lived all of her life.  She was the daughter of  Daniel F. and  Mary E. Snepp.  She was a member of the St. George Lutheran church and of the Eastern Star chapter at Norristown.  Mrs. Sawin is survived by two daughters,  Mrs. Howard Boegaholtz,  of Evansville, and  Mrs. Henry Pence,  at whose home she died; two sons,  Ray  and  Brinton Sawin  of Jackson township; two grandchildren; and two brothers,  Lewis  and  Charles Snepp,  both of near Edinburg.
          Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock at the St. George Lutheran church, the Rev. Defendurfur officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery, Parr and Gosney, of Edinburg, in charge.
