Harold “Bud” Rowland, 61, of Shelbyville, died Monday, April 8, 2002.
Born Nov. 9, 1940, in Connersville, s/o  Robert Harold  and  Myrtle Pauline (Brown) Rowland.
Married  Rose Mary Weaver  on Dec. 3, 1961, and she survives. 
Other survivors include two sons, Mike Rowland  and  Tom Rowland, both of Shelbyville;  two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Evelyn) Miller  of Rushville, and  Mrs. Larry (Virginia) Swango  of Shelbyville; one sister, Susie Doup  of Henryville; and eight grandchildren, Shonda Rowland,  Aaron Rowland,  Ashley Rowland,  Zachary Rowland,  Elizabeth Miller,  Larry Miller,  Lydia Swango  and  Mary Swango.
Employed as a meat cutter with Preston Safeway for 44 years.
Lived in the Shelbyville area since 1970, moving here from Richmond.
Member of the Episcopalian Church and Local No. 700 United Food Commercial Workers Union.
Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with the Rev. Dan McCollough officiating. 
Burial:  Haw Creek Cemetery, Bartholomew County.
