MRS. M. J. ROOP

Died Saturday Evening at Home of Nephew, North of City
------------
Mrs. Mary Jane Roop, 89, died Saturday
evening at the home of her nephew, William Woodruff, north of
Shelbyville. Mrs. Roop was the widow of John A., a civil war
veteran who died thirteen years ago. She had been sick four weeks with a
complication of diseases. She is survived by her brother, J. Woodruff,
of Kokomo, Ind.
The Rev. Omer Hufford of
Shirley, Ind., officiated at the burial held this morning. Interment was
at Hanover cemetery in charge of Carmony Brothers.
