Elizabeth Phillips Possman
died at her residence
in Hendricks township at 7:30 a.m. Friday, August 21st, 1908, of congestion of the lungs, aged seventy-nine years,
eleven months and four days. She leaves two children, Frank Phillips, of Indianapolis, and
Mrs. Kate
Metzger, of this city, and two sisters, Millie Woodson and
Fannie Kelley, of Kentucky. Funeral
services will be held in the Baptist church in Smithland at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 1908, Rev. Clark officiating.
Interment in the Snyder cemetery in charge of Marshall G. Tindall.

Lenora May, daughter of Jacob and Melvina
Poszman, formerly of this city, died at their home in Oklahoma City, of diptheria, November 25th, being at
the time of her death three years, four months and twelve days old. Mr. Poszman and family moved from here to
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma two years ago this month.
