EX-RESIDENT PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Hattie Ensminger [Pine], 70, Dies in Newport News, Virginia

          Mrs. Hattie Ensminger Pine, 70 years old, wife of  Walter Pine  and former resident of Shelby county, died at her home in Newport News, Virginia, Sunday night.
          She was born in Liberty township, Shelby county, the daughter of  John and Louisa Hubbard Ensminger  and had resided in this county until thirty-two years ago.  She was a member of the local First M. E. church for many years.
          Survivors besides the husband are one son, Ernest Waggoner, of Virginia; one sister, Mrs. Belle McCain, of Waldron; one brother, Charles Ensminger  of Jacksonville, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Jessie Griffey, of Shelbyville and  Mrs. Pearl Haymond, of Liberty township are nieces of  Mrs. Pine and  Wallace Ensminger  and  Ira McKay, both of Shelbyville, and  Brady Meltzer, also of Liberty township, are nephews.
          The body will arrive in Shelbyville Wednesday morning and will be taken to the C. F. Fix & Son funeral home where private funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. Elder Thomas Hubbard of Boggstown will officiate and burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
