          Mrs. Marjorie S. Overman,  64, Carthage, died Thursday at Hancock County Memorial Hospital, Greenfield.  She was formerly employed as an assistant recreation director at the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Children's Home, Knightstown.  She was a charter member of the Eastern Star and member of the Fletcher United Methodist Church, Carthage.
          Born Dec. 18, 1914, in Rush County, a daughter of  Claude A. and  Edith (Kamper) Sullivan,  she was married Sept. 26, 1937 to  Jack Overman, who survives.  Also surviving are three sons,  John Kirby Overman,  Zionsville,  James Lynn Overman,  Union City, Tenn., and  Van Frank Overman,  Carthage; a sister,  Katherine Sednek,  Rushville, and four grandchildren.  A sister preceded in death.
          Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Fletcher UM Church with the Rev. Kenneth Stone officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Carthage.  Friends may call at the Hampton-Todd Funeral Home, Carthage, after 2 p.m. Saturday.
