Roland R. Nay, 81, of Edinburgh, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at Kindred Hospital in Greenwood.
Born Sept. 8, 1921, in Shelby County, s/o  Travis and Ruth (Niebel) Nay.  Married  Ruby Montgomery  on Aug. 8, 1948, and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Houston  (husband, Richard)  of Mount Auburn; two sons, Travis R. Nay  of Floyds Knobs, and  Montgomery Nay  (wife, Betty)  of Mount Auburn; one sister, Naomi Nay  of Columbus; two grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Nay.
Lifelong farmer and a car salesman for Siebert Oldsmobile.
Graduated in 1939 from Mount Auburn High School.
Served as a finance board member for the expansion of W.S. Major Hospital.
Member of Mount Auburn Christian Church, where he had served as deacon and superintendent.  Mason and Shriner and former member of Chanters Singers of the Shrine.
Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.

Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Mount Auburn.

Mildred Virginia Mildred Virginia (Crousore) Nay, 87, of Kokomo, with relatives in Shelbyville, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2002, Kokomo.
Born Jan. 18, 1915, in Kokomo, d/o  Omer T. and Ruth Hilda (Pearson) Crousore.  She married  Carl Nay  on Feb. 8, 1933, in Indianapolis, and he survives.
Survivors:  Mrs. William (Judith Ann) Ancil, Shelbyville;  Mrs. John (Shirley Jean) Branch  of Ocala, Fla.; four grandsons, Kevin Brent Ancil  of Kokomo, Scott Joseph Branch  and wife  Jacqueline Ann  of Kokomo, Jason William Branch, wife  Dina  and stepchildren  Kaitlyn Wade  and  Brandon Wade of Ocala, Fla., and  Kristian Neal Branch  of Ocala, Fla.; one granddaughter, Michelle Lorree Ancil  of Noblesvile; two great-grandchildren, Joseph Nolan Branch  and  Kaile Rebecca Branch  of Kokomo; one half-sister, Bernita (Bolinger) Eades; one brother-in-law, Max Shue; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Kenny (Josephine V. Avery Wilson) Steinborn, and  Eva (Phillips) Bolinger of Elwood; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by three half-sisters,  Thelma Crousore Dudzik,  Ruth Hilda Bolinger,  and  Hilda Rachael Bolinger Shue; three half-brothers,  James Nathaniel Wilson,  Frederick Robert Bolinger,  and  John Paul Bolinger; and one grandson, Bradley William Ancil.
Employed as a clerk at Kresge’s department store for several years, until she retired.
