Walter C. Nash, 85, died Tuesday, Greencastle [Putnam County].
Born July 8, 1906, Shelbyville, s/o William and Lillie Mae
(Smith) Nash.
Married Effie Viola Monroe.
Resident of Flat Rock.
Survivors: son, Gene Nash, Greencastle; brothers, Gary
Nash, Los Angeles, California, and Alfred Nash, Filmore,
California; sister, Mary Crowe, Oceanside, California; four
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, sister and wife preceded him in death.
Murphy Funeral Home.
Burial: Lewis Creek Cemetery.

Born in Shelbyville May 21, 1912, d/o Earl R. and Naomi
(Wicker) Monroe.
Married Walter C. Nash March 19, 1927.
Lived in Geneva for the last nine years; also lived in Marietta and
Indianapolis.
Survivors: husband; son, Walter, Indianapolis;
daughter, Mrs. James (Judy) Boyle, Brea, California; brothers, John
S. Monroe and Donald Monroe, Shelbyville; sister, Cynthia
Monroe, Shelbyville; four grandchildren; three
step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial: Lewis Creek Cemetery.
