MRS.  MCNAY
DIES  IN  HOSPITAL

          Mrs. Vey V. McNay,  77, 319 W. Hendricks St., wife of former Shelbyville  Mayor Elmer P. McNay,  died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday at Major Hospital, where she had been a patient three weeks.
          She had been in failing health two years and entered the hospital at the same time as Mr. McNay, who suffered a broken hip in a fall at his home March 28 and is still hospitalized here.
          Born at Pentzer Corner in Hendricks Township May 1, 1892, Mrs. McNay was a daughter of  John and Jessie (Davidson) Pentzer.
          She was married to  Elmer McNay  in Shelbyville on Oct. 11, 1916, and they resided here since then.  Survivors with her husband are a son,  Pentzer McNay  of Decatur, Ga., a daughter,  Mrs. Harry (Marcile) Allison  of Crown Point, and five grandchildren.
          A brother and sister preceded in death.
          Mrs. McNay was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Naamah Chapter 173 of the Order of Eastern Star.
          Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ewing Mortuary, with the Rev. E. David Frazier officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary after 6 p.m. today, and Eastern Star services will be held there at 7 p.m. today.
