AT  HOSPITAL

Mrs. Blanche McComas, 65, Ill Six Months
------------
Mrs. Blanche M. McComas, 65, wife of  Roy McComas  of 261 West Taylor street, died this morning.
Born in Corinth, Kentucky, on July 2, 1886, d/o  Mr. and Mrs. Gashum Smith.
Lived in Shelbyville most of her life. 
First married to Wesley McGinnis  and then to  Harry Barlow ; June 9, 1942, she married Roy McComas.
Surviving:  husband;  two sons, Melbourne McGinnis  of Shelbyville, and  Lee Adrain Barlow, who is serving with the U.S. Army on Okinawa;  a step-son,  Paul McComas, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin;  three grandchildren; one step-grandson; a great grandchild; one brother, James Robert Smith  of Peoria, Illinois; two half-brothers, Leonard Smith  of Morgantown and  Charles Wesley Smith  of Indianapolis and two half-sisters, Mrs. Violet E. Manning  of Shelbyville and  Mrs. Lucille Wingfield  of Lowell, Kentucky.
Member of the Rebekah Lodge, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Women’s Relief Corps.
Sleeth Funeral Home with the Rev. A.M. Hamilton officiating. 
Burial:  Forest Hill cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
