Verlynne "Charlie" Irvin McAdams, 89, Tipp City, Ohio, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in Greenville, Ohio.
Born Jan. 29, 1912, in Hardin Station, Shelby County, Ohio, s/o  Charles and Ida Mae (Nisewonger) McAdams.  Married  Flora Lee Stowe.  She survives.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald  and  Alberta (Denlinger) McAdams  of Tipp City, and  Tom  and  Carol (Pierson) McAdams  of Morristown; daughter-in-law  Lucy (Haltom) McAdams  of New Carlisle; former daughter-in-law, Kaysa (Anderson) McAdams  of Greenville; two sisters-in-law, Ruth McAdams  of Tipp City, and  Alma McAdams  of California; seven grandchildren, Pamela McAdams  of Verona, Kevin McAdams  of Tipp City, Tim McAdams  of New Haven, Conn., Lee McAdams  of Columbus, Mrs. Timothy (Malinda) Tipton  of Tipp City, and  Aleka McAdams  and  Melea McAdams, both of Morristown; two step-grandchildren, Doug Harris  of Charlotte, N.C., and  Debi Harris  of Huber Heights; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by two sons, Gary McAdams  and  Larry McAdams; two brothers, Cecil Owen McAdams  and  Ernest McAdams; one sister-in-law, Ruth McAdams; four sisters, Xoa Kreiger,  Goldie Davidson,  Ilah McAdams  and  Janice Underwood; and three brothers-in-law, Fred Kreiger,  Leonard Davidson  and  George Underwood. Graduated in 1932 from Tippecanoe High School.  Retired toolmaker and owner of Airway Tool and Die.
Member of Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren, Tipp City.
Services:  Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren, Tipp City, with the Rev. Rosella Combs officiating.
Burial:  Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
