Helen K. Mackey, 66, Connersville, who had relatives in Shelbyville, died today at Lincoln Center West, Connersville.
Born March 14, 1933, in Rushville, d/o  Edmund Yazel Sr. and  Grace Dexter Dugan.
On March 11, 1950, married  James R. Mackey, and he survives.
Attended Rushville schools, having lived in Rushville in earlier years.  Later lived in Laurel and had lived in Connersville for the past three years. 
Homemaker and a member of the Laurel United Methodist Church.
Survivors:  husband;  4 sons, Ricky Mackey, Columbus, David Mackey  and  Eric D. Mackey, both of Connersville, and  Steven R. Mackey, Shelbyville; one sister, Mary Weaver, Shelbyville; and five grandchildren.
Preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters and one granddaughter.

Burial:  Laurel North Cemetery, Laurel.
