KNITL, Jill Elaine,  66, of Lutz, Florida passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013.  Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Jill was a graduate of Indiana University.  She taught school in Indianapolis and Atlanta, Georgia.  While in Atlanta, she became an Air Traffic Controller working at the Hartsfield International Center in Atlanta and retiring from the Morristown Tower in New Jersey.  While in Atlanta, Jill met and married her husband, Eugene (Jeno).   After his retirement as an architect, they moved to Florida where they both pursued their love of arts and crafts.  They participated in many shows nationwide, receiving numerous awards in national competitions as well as several publications.  Jill was very accomplished in whatever she pursued.  She was an avid reader, had a strong interest in genealogy research, and was artistically and musically inclined and creative.   Additionally, her quick wit and sense of humor served her well through life.  Jill is preceded in death by her husband,  Eugene (Jeno) Knitl.  She is survived by her sister,  Jody Pankey  and husband Jerry, nieces and nephews,  Stacy and Patrick Patton,  Jonathon Pankey,  JJ and Tina Pankey,  Taylor Lineberger,  Caitlyn and Erin Patton  and all of the Knitl Family members.  Jill’s final resting place will be with husband at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, Indiana at a future date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.  Jill will be sorely missed by her family and kitties, Angel, Pinkie and Marshmallow.
