          Mrs. Margaret C. Jacobi,  age 78, died at 2:45 o'clock this morning at her home northwest of New Palestine.
          She was a native of Shelby county and was born on March 13, 1869, the daughter of  Micheal[sic] and  Margaret C. (Kuhn) Streng.  Her marriage to Andy Jacobi  took place in September, 1899, and his death occurred in October, 1933.
          Mrs. Jacobi is survived by a sister,  Miss Caroline Streng,  who resides at the Jacobi home, and two brothers,  Dr. Stephen Streng,  of near Fountaintown, and  George Streng,  of near New Palestine.
          Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Reformed Evangelical Church in New Palestine with Rev. Moritz officiating.  Burial, in charge of L. V. Hauk, will be made in Asbury cemetery.  Friends may call at the late home.
