Fred Carl Harsch

          Service for Fred Carl Harsch, 78, R.R. 1, Edinburgh, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Auburn Christian Church with the Rev. Barry Stenulson officiating.  Burial and military graveside rites will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
          Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at the Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh.
          Born on March 18, 1908, in Indianapolis, he was the son of  Fred and Elizabeth (Ohlrogge) Harsch.  He worked for Diamond Chain, Indianapolis, for 36 years, retiring in 1972.  He was a members of Disabled American Veterans and the Mount Auburn Christian Church where he was a deacon.  He served in World War II.
          On April 24, 1948, he married Doris Reed, who survives along with a daughter, Christina Arvin, R.R. 1, Edinburgh; a brother, Ed Harsch, Nineveh; and a grandson.
