James M. Hall, 71, of Fairland, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005.
Born Feb. 9, 1933, in Detroit, Mich., s/o  John and Hester (Mason) Riley.
Married to  June Passmore  for 50 years.
Survivors: wife; two sons, Mark Steven Hall  and  Derek Lee Hall; one daughter, Brenda Kaye Rush; three sisters,  Rita Sue McKinney,  Christine Hamblin  and  Audrey O’Neil; two brothers,  Jerry Hall  and  Frank Hall; and two grandchildren.
Forklift operator at Kroger warehouse for 23 years, retiring in 1993.
U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., in Indianapolis.
Burial:  Floral Park Cemetery, in Indianapolis.

          One of Shelby county's few centenarians, James A. Hall, age 100, died at his home at 103 John St., at 1:00 a.m. today.
          Mr. Hall, a retired framer, had been ill since last May and death was attributed to complications.  He was born July 15, 1851, at Blue Ridge Mountain, Ky.  He was a resident of Shelbyville county the latter part of his life and resided in Shelbyville the past four years.
          His wife preceded him in death in 1932.  Surviving are three sons and two daughters:  James L., Franklin;  William, of near Hope;  Elmer G. Hall,  Mrs. R. M. Cornforth  and  Mrs. Jessie Anderson,  all of Shelbyville, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
        Mr. Hall was a member of the Old Union Methodist Church.  Funeral services will be held at the Murphy Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. Monday with Rev. Clarence Hager officiating.  Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

Hall,  stepfather of  Earl McClain, brother of  William and Lawrence Hall.  Services Saturday, 1:30PM at West Side Nazarene Church, 11th and King Streets. Friends are welcome.  Burial, Floral Park Cemetery.  Friends may call at Peace Chapel, 2050 East Michigan Street until 11AM, Saturday: from 12 noon until time of services at church. Moore Mortuaries.

          HALL --- On the 6th day of June, 1879, at the alte residence of  D. A. Andrews  in Addison township,  Mr. John Hall.  The remains were interred at the Parrish grave-yard.
