Died at her residence in this place [St. Omer], of diptheria February 13, 1881, Mrs. Angeline Gully. Mrs. Gully's death is peculiarly sad from its suddenness.  She had been sick only for a day or two, and was not considered dangerous until a few minutes before she died.  She was the daughter of the late Simeon Garrett, whose death occurred less than one month ago, and the grand-daughter of William Garrett, whose death I have recorded in this communication as having occurred last week. Thus a representative of each of three generations of the same family have passed away in less than one month's time. The deceased leaves a husband and six children to mourn her untimely death. The deepest sympathy of this community goes out to those bereaved ones in their sad trial, and the more so as Mrs. Gully was a woman of exceptional worth and universally beloved and respected.
