CITY  WOMAN'S        
        MOTHER  DIES

          Mrs. Blanche Greenlee, 73, mother of  Mrs. H. W. Tovey of Shelbyville, died at the Bartholomew County Memorial Hospital Wednesday at 6:15 p.m., where she had been a patient for the past 15 weeks.
          Mrs. Greenlee, whose home was in Columbus had lived in that area all her life.  She was first married to Grover Hurley  and later became the wife of  Oscar Greenlee.  Survivors include eight children:  the local woman and  Mrs. William Howard, Southport;  Mrs. Carl Drury, Beech Grove;  Mrs. Donald McKinney,  Mrs. James Percefield  and  Mrs. Harold Coles all of Columbus;  Mrs. Raymond Scherer, St. Louis, Mo.,  and  George Hurley, of Columbus.  Several grandchildren, four step-children, three brothers and two sisters also survive.
          Funeral services are in charge of the Barkus-Inlow Funeral Home at Columbus.  Burial will be in Garland Brook cemetery there.

Rites  for  Step-Father
of  Local  Woman  Held

          Funeral services were held today in Columbus for  Oscar Greenlee,  82, of Columbus, who died at the Bartholomew county hospital Sunday morning.  Mr. Greenlee, step-father of  Mrs. Frieda Tovey  of Shelbyville, had been a patient at the hospital since November 27.
          Survivors include his wife,  Blanche;  three sons, a daughter, eight step-children; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
