          Ill for the past two years,  Mrs. Marcia Pauline Goodman,  wife of  Roy Goodman,  well known Liberty township resident, died at the home two miles southwest of Waldron Sunday morning at 12:15 o'clock.  Mrs. Goodman had recently undergone an operation at the Robert Long hospital and had been returned to her home eight weeks ago.  Death was due to apoplexy.
          A daughter of  William H. and  Louisa Brown,  Mrs. Goodman was born in Johnson county June 23, 1894.  At the time of death, she was 48 years, four months and 22 days old.  She and Mr. Goodman were married November 28, 19181.  Seven children, with the husband, survive.  They are  Harold,  of Indianapolis;  Mrs. Clarence Parker,  of Tuscon, Ariz.;  Thomas,  of Shelbyville;  Russell,  of Acton, and  Thelma,  Lillie and  Robert  at home.  In addition the parents survive, together with two step-sons,  Floyd Goodman,  of Indianapolis, and  Raymond,  of Tallahassee, Fla., and one brother,  Howard H. Brown,  of East Liverpool, Ohio.
          Funeral services will be held at the Loren H. Murphy funeral home at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in charge of the Rev. A. J. Spaulding.  Burial will be made in Forest Hill cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
