MARIE  L.  GLASS

          Marie L. Glass  85, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, after a short illness in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Born May 21, 1921, in Peru, Ind., she was the daughter of  George Carl and   Helen Faye Hebbe.  She married  Eugene H. Glass,  and he survives in Corpus Christi.
          Other survivors include daughters,  Malinda Passmore  of Dallas, Texas, and  Emily Mitchell  of Tijeras, N.M.; sisters,  Mildred Mofford  of Franklin and  Ruth Dancey  of Peru; brothers,  James Hebbe  of Wilmington, N.D.; and grandchildren,  Arthur,  Lynett and  Patrick.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers,  Edward and  George,  both former Shelbyville residents.
          Private services will be at Restland Funeral Home, 9220 Restland Road in Dallas.  Interment will be in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

DIES  AT  HOSPITAL

Native of Kentucky Succumbs
Following Long Illness - Funeral to be Monday

          Mrs. Anna Glass, age 72, whose home was a 346 East Washington St., died at the W. S. Major hospital at 1:00 a.m. today.  She had been in failing health with a complication of diseases for the past two years and her condition had been serious for the past week.
          Mrs. Glass was born in Covington, Ky., on July 4, 1872, the daughter of  William and Jane Tomlin.  She had spent the greater part of her life in this city and was a member of the First Christian Church.
          Her marriage to  George W. Glass  took place on July 9, 1890.  Five children were born to the union and four survive.  They are  Mrs. Viola Wise,  Miss Lillian Glass,  and  Otto Glass, all of this city, and  Ralph Glass, of Brownsville.  Also surviving are four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one nephew.
          Funeral services will be held at the C.F. Fix & Son mortuary Monday at 10:00 a.m. with  Rev. Ernest L. Ford  officiating.  Interment will be in Forrest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Saturday.
