HARRY  GESSLER
DIES  IN  HOSPITAL
----------
          Harry Gessler,  74, Rushville died at 9 a.m. today at Major Hospital.  He was ill for several years.  He had lived in Rushville most of his life and was retired after working 42 years at the former Parke Furniture Factory in Rushville.  Mr. Gessler was born in New Palestine, July 10, 1891, the son of  William and  Mary (Matlock) Gessler.  He married  Cecile Shaw  in 1913 and she preceded in death in 1952.
          He is survived by a daughter,  Miss Frances M. Gessler  of Rushville and two sisters,  Mrs. Albert Sweet  of Rushville and  Mrs. Orville Hill  of Freeport.
          Mr. Gessler was a member of the Methodist Church.
          Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Moster and Sons Mortuary in Rushville with Rev. Stephen Zambos officiating and burial in at East Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday.
