Woman Living Near Carthage
Had Been Ill Two Years; Funeral Rites to be Saturday

          Mrs. Alma Sampson Geise, 45, wife of  Cleve Geise,  died at her home five miles northwest of Carthage at 6:10 p.m. yesterday, following an illness of two years.
          She was born November 27, 1888, in this county, the daughter of  H[orace]. G. and  Angeline (Brown) Sampson.  She was married October 16, 1907.  She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge M.E. church.
          Besides her husband, survivors include her father, three sons:  Lowell,  Loren,  and  James Allen;  a brother,  Mull Sampson,  and a sister,  Mrs. Hattie Aldridge.
          Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the Arlington Christian church in charge of the Rev. Walter Crawley.  Burial will be made in Arlington East Hill cemetery.
