WALKER  FRYER
DIES  AT  HOME

          Walker Lewis Fryer,  aged sixty-one, died at his home at 710 Fourth street at noon Wednesday.  He had been ill one week and death was due to apoplexy.
          The of  Richard J. and  Buena Fryer,  he was born in Pendleton county, Ky., on February 2, 1882.  He moved to this city early in life and for the past 42 years had been employed at the Spiegel Furniture factory.  He was married to  Minnie E. Titus,  of Noble township on July 21, 1934.  She survives with two step-sons,  Leslie Titus,  of Marion, and  Russell Titus  of Addison township.  Also surviving are four brothers,  Richard Fryer,  of this city;  Gus,  of Kerville, Tex.;  Edward,  of Marion township, and  James,  of Falmouth, Ky., and two step-grandsons.
          Mr. Fryer was a devoted member of the Calvery Baptist church where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Clarence Hager officiating.  Burial will be made in Forest Hill cemetery in charge of Loren H. Murphy.  Friends may call at the late home after 5:00 p.m. today.

          Mrs. Beuna Vista Fryer,  72 years old, passed away at her home, 707 Colescott street, early this morning, dropsy being the illness which caused her death.  She was the widow of a Civil War veteran who died a number of years ago.
          Mrs. Fryer was born in Harrison county, Kentucky, Dec. 25, 1856, and came to Shelbyville 23 years ago.  Four sons survive:  Walker and  Edward,  of this city, and  Richard and  Gus Fryer,  of near Shelbyville.  She also leaves two sisters,  Mrs. Susan Nevins,  of Cincinnati, and  Mrs. Ella Brewsaw,  of Newport, Ky.
          She was a member of the Baptist church at Falmounth, Ky.  Funeral arrangements will be announced tomorrow by Ralph J. Edwards, the funeral director in charge.
