ALLEN  ESTES.
----------
(From Saturday's Daily.)
Allen Estes,  colored, died in the central hospital for the insane at Indianapolis at an early hour today after having been a patient in the institution almost a year.  He was taken there the day before christmas last year after his mind had become unbalanced because of injuries suffered when he fell from a cherry tree one year ago last summer.  Frank Beynon  of the Stewart & Fix firm of undertakers went to Indianapolis to bring the body to the late home of Mr. Estes at 823* Columbis avenue.  Mr. Ester[sic] was born a slave in Kentucky, but he had been a resident of Indiana Many years and of Shelbyville twenty-seven years.  He did not know his age, but his friends and relatives think he was at least 75 years old.  His wife,  Mrs. Dicy Estes,  of this city, and a daughter,  Mrs. George Winslow,  of Carthage, survive.
