George W. Cookson died at his
late residence, two miles east of Flat Rock, Saturday night, January 24, of
pneumonia, his age being 65 years and one month. The funeral will be from
the Norristown church, Thursday morning, January 29th, by Reverend J
Randolph. The deceased was a private in Company D, 33rd Indiana Volunteer
Infantry and a member of A C Winterrowd Post, GAR, under whose auspices the
interment will be made.Tuesday, January 27, 1903
