Lorna J. (Collins) Simmonds Beyer, 72, St. Paul, died Friday at Major Hospital.
Born Jan. 17, 1927, in Shelbyville, d/o
John A. and
Glida F. (Smith) Griffith Collins.
On Sept. 9, 1941, married
Richard Simmonds, and he died on Feb. 18, 1995.
On April 20, 1995, she married
John J. Beyer, and he survives.
Retired from Corsi Kitchen Cabinets, Indianapolis. Previously worked for Admiral Corp., Shelbyville.
Member of Sigma Beta, Alpha Iota chapter, and St. Vincent Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, St. Paul; one son, Richard D. Simmonds, Shelbyville; three daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Nancy) Craig, St. Paul, Mrs. Clifford (Corliss) Chasteen, Shelbyville, and Mrs. Michael (Kathy) Simpson, Tampa, Fla.; seven stepchildren, Stephen Beyer, David Beyer, Tom Beyer, Mike Beyer, Tim Beyer,
Alice A. Bottorff
and
Rosemary Sheedy; one brother, Richard Collins, Elkhart; one sister, Thelma Barnes, Shelbyville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren.

Burial:
Forest Hill Cemetery.
