Lorna J. (Collins) Simmonds Beyer, 72, St. Paul, died Friday at Major Hospital.
Born Jan. 17, 1927, in Shelbyville, d/o  John A. and  Glida F. (Smith) Griffith Collins.
On Sept. 9, 1941, married  Richard Simmonds, and he died on Feb. 18, 1995.
On April 20, 1995, she married  John J. Beyer, and he survives.
Retired from Corsi Kitchen Cabinets, Indianapolis. Previously worked for Admiral Corp., Shelbyville.
Member of Sigma Beta, Alpha Iota chapter, and St. Vincent Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, St. Paul; one son, Richard D. Simmonds, Shelbyville; three daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Nancy) Craig, St. Paul, Mrs. Clifford (Corliss) Chasteen, Shelbyville, and Mrs. Michael (Kathy) Simpson, Tampa, Fla.; seven stepchildren, Stephen Beyer, David Beyer, Tom Beyer, Mike Beyer, Tim BeyerAlice A. Bottorff  and  Rosemary Sheedy; one brother, Richard Collins, Elkhart; one sister, Thelma Barnes, Shelbyville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren.
Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home.
St. Vincent Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Landwerlen officiating.
Burial:  Forest Hill Cemetery.

FATHER  DIES

Heart Attack Causes
Death of Ray Beyers

          Funeral services will be held Thursday for  Ray Beyers,  62, father of  Jesse David Beyers,  trustee of VanBuren township, who was found dead in his room at 711 N. Pennsylvania St. in Indianapolis Monday.
          In failling health for some time, death was attributed to a heart attack and was believed to have occurred about 7:00 a.m. Monday, although the body was not found until later in the day.  Mr. Beyers was born in Lawrence county on March 16, 1895.
          Survivors besides the son in VanBuren township include a daughter,  Mrs. Lorraine Wilds  of Wanamaker; another son,  Pfc. Earl E. Beyers,  who is stationed in Germany, and the following brothers and sisters: Ott,  Elza,  Howard  and  Arthur Beyers,  all of Bedford;  Joe Beyers  of Greenfield and  Mrs. Lula Presley  of Indianapolis.  There are six grandchildren.
          Last rites will be held in the Hendryx and Fields Mortuaries New Palestine Chapel Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and burial will be in the Beyers cemetery at Popcorn, Ind.  Friends may call at the New Palestine chapel.

BEYER  FUNERAL
THIS  AFTERNOON

          Victor Joseph Beyer,  infant son of  Leo and  Justine Ruhlman Beyer  of the St. Vincent Neighborhood died at 3:15 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.  The infant was born on Sunday morning.  Survivors are the parents, the grandfather,  Joseph Beyer  and the brothers and sisters,  Mary,  Joseph,  Catherine,  Helen,  Bernard,  Tresa,  Gertrude,  William  and  Rita.
          Last rites were held this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the grave.
