Mildred Pearl Cole Beaman, 85, Columbus, died Thursday, Columbus.
Shelby County native, born July 31, 1909, d/o Lee and Rosetta (Ramsey)
Benifiel.
Married Jan. 1, 1974, Lawrence
Beaman, who preceded her in death June 20, 1982.
Spent most of her life in
Shelby County.
Belonged to Beacon Baptist Church.
Retired in 1974 as head
cook at Morristown High School.
Survivors: two sons, Ned H. Cole, Columbus,
and Rick D. Cole, Greenfield; two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Betty Ann)
Larrabee, New
Braunfels, Texas, and Mrs. Jan (Millie) Boring, Northville, Mich.; a sister
Irene Schmaltz, Shelbyville; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Daughter and two sisters preceded her in death.
Carmony Ewing Broadway Funeral Home.
Burial: Bennett Cemetery.
