Evelyn B. Hargrove Barber,  74, New Palestine, former Shelby County resident, died Sunday.
Born Dec. 8, 1925, in Arlington, d/o  Clarence and  Rose Mae (Benefiel) Hargrove.
U.S. Navy Waves during World War II.
Housewife and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars 5396 Ladies Auxillary, Paralized Veterans of America and Handicaped Horizon of America.
Survived by one brother,  Carl Hargrove,  Vevay.
Preceded in death by two brothers, and one sister.
Hendryx Mortuary New Palestine Chapel, Rev. Edith Berthoux officiating.  Burial New Palestine Cemetery.

Lifelong Rush County resident;  belonged to Center Christian Church, Rush County.
Born Feb. 18, 1904, in Rush County, d/o  Robert and Cora Mae (Cole) Sutton; married Robert Barber, who died in June 1978.
Survivors:  Miss Brenda Barber, Rushville;  sister, Mrs. Lela Bouquein, R.R. 3, Rushville.
Wyatt-Moore Mortuary, Rushville, with the Rev. Ronald Sams officiating.
Burial:  Center Cemetery, Rush County.
