Mrs. Edna E. Bansbach, 91, 201 E. Hendricks St., died Monday, November 5,
1979, W. S. Major Hospital.
Born July 16, 1888, Johnson County, d/o Peter and Phoebe Crosby Gallagher.
Married John A. Bansbach on June 14, 1910, Shelbyville; he
died in 1968.
Survivors: sons, Joseph, Maurice and Jack Bansbach, all of
Shelbyville; daughters, Mrs. Justine Shaner, Hinsdale,
Illinois, Mrs. Helen Riemenschneider, Shelbyville, Mrs.
Martha Schlick, Shelbyville; 14 grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren. Several siblings preceded in death.
Teacher at the former Colescott School here and other county schools.
Graduated from Central Normal College.
Member St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Ann's Altar Society, St. Rose of Lima
Circle, Daughters of Isabella.
Services: St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. William Ernst officiating;
Murphy Mortuary.
Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
