Mrs. Martha B. Adkins, 83, Manilla, died Sunday.
Born March 6, 1895, Greenup Co, KY, d/o Joseph and Lucy (Swanigan) Ash.
Member of the Baptist Church.
March 13, 1913, married Marion Adkins; he preceded her in death
July 8, 1968.
Four sons survive: Virgin Adkins, Flat Rock, Roscoe Adkins,
Manilla, Oscar Adkins, Shelbyville, Herbert Adkins,
Waldron; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Smith, Mrs. Max (Evaline)
Ray, and Mrs. Kenneth (Christine) Self, all of
Shelbyville; a sister, Mrs. Laura Stevens,
Wheelersburg, Ohio; 20 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren.
Two sons preceded in death.
Hauk-Spencer Mortuary, Morristown; Revs. Kenneth Bates and Revis[sic]
Brazle, officiates.
Burial in Arlington East Hill Cem, Arlington [Rush Co, IN].
