Miss Ethel
Lemasters, who has been very ill with the measles, has recovered.
Some of the Wilson
crowd are talking of attending meeting at Waldron this week.
A small number of the
good people of this vicinity attended League at Winchester Sunday night. Mr. James and
Mr. Lige Snider, of Fountaintown, were the guests of Mr.
John Means Saturday night and Sunday. Mrs. Lyda
Winter and Miss Alta Washburn are undergoing trials and
tribulations from the little intruder known as the La Grippe. Porter Limpus is
still going east on Sunday evening. The supposition is that he is
seeking a Fortune. Don't you think it looks suspicious.
Quite a number of the
young folks of this place were very highly entertained last Saturday night at
a social given by Elsie Amos, of Possumtown. Mr. Samuel Branyon,
of this place, will move near Lewis Creek soon. Edward Thompson
says he hates for them to go on account of the girl. Mr. Ezra Means
came very near having a serious accident at Winchester by his horse running
backwards. The rumor is that he had the horse's head the wrong way.
The Possumtown
correspondent wanted us to guess who she is. So we will say without a
doubt that it is Miss E. A., of Possumtown. For futher orders
consult Mr. E. Means.
