An inquisition taken at the home in Morristown in Handover
[sic] Township County
of Shelby on the 5th day of January, in the year 19 31,
before me, Clyde R. Underwood , Coroner, upon view of the body of Warren G. Barnard ,
then and there lying dead, I, Clyde R. Underwood Coroner
in and for said County of Shelby
upon view
of the body of the aforesaid Warren
G. Barnard , and having the evidence
(which is hereunto appended) do find he came to his death by
Valvular
Heart Disease.

State of Indiana, Shelby County, ss:
I, Henry E. Barnard, being
duly sworn this 5th day of January 1931, upon
my oath depose and say that
I live at Morristown. About 8:30 to 9:00 AM on the morning of January 4, 1931 I was called by Mr. Herbert Hale, who told me that Warren G Barnard had fallen on the street. I went at once to where
he was and he was still lying on the ground and found he was dead lying on his back. He has been under the Doctor's
care for the past four or five years for the high blood pressure.

I, Ed. Nolley,
being duly sworn this 5th day of January
1931, upon my oath depose and say
that
I live at Morristown. On the morning of January 4, 1931 about 8:00 o'clock A.M. my daughter called me and ask me
what that is lying in the road, I could not tell from the window and I walked down, to where it was and saw it
was Mr. Barnard and I went and called Herbert Hale and we went back to him. Mr. Hale called Mr. Barnard's
Brother Mr. Barnard was dead when I got to him. When Mr. Barnard's Brother got their we move the body
to the home.
Henry Barnard said when he got to the body that his
brother had been doctoring for high blood pressure.
