          The Auditor's vault has many records of interest to the family historian.  The Auditor's Office was established in 1822.  Using the  Inventory of the County Archives of Indiana, No. 73 Shelby County,  Indiana Historical Records Survey, Indianapolis, 1940,  I will list some of the records available:
